EID Tag Requirements Update

Do you have questions about the updated EID tag requirements from USDA-APHIS? At the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association (ICA), we’ve fielded many questions from producers wondering how this new ruling will impact their operation.

With the help of Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) state veterinarian Dr. Jeff Kaisand, and USDA veterinarian Dr. Kevin Petersburg, ICA is offering this free webinar to help Iowa cattle producers know what comes next.

During this session, we’ll evaluate the new rule and highlight the changes from the ruling that has previously been in place. We’ll share how IDALS is helping Iowa producers prepare for this change. Finally, we’ll answer some common questions and concerns we’ve heard since the new ruling was announced.

The clock is ticking. The new ruling takes effect on November 5. This is an investment of time to learn and educate yourself to avoid costly mistakes and compliance issues in the future. Mark your calendars and plan to join this complimentary educational offering from ICA.
